Fragments Grotesque is based on fragments of the Latin alphabet - arcs, lines, empty spaces - which have been reassembled. The aim was to find out how much of a letter must remain visible so that it can still be recognized. Fragments Grotesque moves between typographic legibility and graphic abstraction. Nevertheless, the font remains consistent and typographically clearly structured. The result is a typeface that is visually raw, surprising and expressive.
